Summit on Open-Source Ecosystems

Preliminary Agenda

The Summit on Open-Source Ecosystems (SOSE 2026) will take place on December 2–3, 2026, at Fuse at Mason Square in Arlington, Virginia.

Under the theme Open Source in the Era of AI, the Summit will bring together leaders and contributors from academia, industry, government, nonprofit organizations, and open-source communities to examine emerging challenges and opportunities for open-source ecosystems.

SOSE is designed as a participatory working summit rather than a traditional conference. In addition to keynote presentations, participants will engage in structured breakout discussions across four thematic tracks, share perspectives and insights, and work toward identifying priorities and actionable next steps for the broader open-source ecosystem.

This is a preliminary agenda. Session details, speakers, and timings are subject to change as the program is finalized. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
